The room was beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and had a cozy atmosphere. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the town center and surrounded by breathtaking countryside. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast experience could have been improved by having slightly bigger bath towels. Everything else was perfect and we couldn't fault anything.

We had an incredible stay at Fox Cottage! The location was perfect, with easy access and convenient parking. The cottage itself was a charming and well-equipped 2-bedroom residence, filled with character and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail was evident in the high-quality fixtures and decor. We especially appreciated the quiet and peaceful surroundings.
The kitchen was fully equipped, although we didn't get to use it much since we were out exploring. The comfortable sofa and beds were a pleasant surprise, as was the cozy and inviting atmosphere of the cottage.

Great attention to detail and nice layout in the cottage. Enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen and cosy sitting area. The garden was a pleasant addition, perfect for relaxing.
The location was not ideal, as it was quite far from the town center and amenities. The cottage itself felt quite small and cramped, especially in the bedrooms.

I recently had a delightful stay at a charming Victorian coach house in a beautiful Border town. The cottage was tastefully decorated and had a well-equipped kitchen, although I didn't have the chance to use it much as I was out exploring. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. The owners had thoughtfully provided some goodies, including eggs, milk, biscuits, and even an Easter chocolate bunny. The cottage also had a lovely garden for relaxation in warmer weather. It was conveniently located, just a short walk from the town center. I had a fabulous experience and would highly recommend this accommodation.

The breakfast offerings could have been improved with a mat inside the front door on wet days to prevent slipping.

Just returned from a 3 night stay and it absolutely exceeded our expectations! The cottage is beautifully decorated, super clean and all the additional touches make it a real home-from-home. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds were amazing and so, so comfy with lovely bedding. Everything is thought about at Fox Cottage - games, DVDs, books, menus for local takeaways and ideas for things to do in the local area. The cottage's location is ideal, just a short walk from the high street. Beautiful views of the hills from the garden and bedroom windows. Can't wait to book again!
Can recommend this hotel.
